April 2020 – The priority of Tal Healthcare during this unprecedented time is the health and safety of our employees, clients, candidates, and recruiters. We moved quickly to establish our employees remotely, perform helpful outreach to our community, and focus on areas of hiring where we could make the most positive and meaningful impact.
Tal Healthcare is truly inspired by the amazing work of healthcare workers on the frontlines during this COVID-19 crisis. With a dire physician shortage pressing in on the area, Tal Healthcare has put a call out to help New York, New Jersey and Connecticut hospitals facing desperate physician shortages. We heard the plea and responded by reaching out to our network and database with a request for physician volunteers from around the country to assist.
Responding to a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), Tal Healthcare’s Director of Healthcare Search, Fran Philips, spearheaded a collection for a local hospital, Greenwich Hospital. She secured shoe coverings and other PPE in short supply. At times like this, it is more important than ever that we all pull together and do our part.
To prevent the spread of the virus and protect the health and safety of staff and the public, Tal Healthcare has closed its physical office. However, our career enhancing programs continue to operate uninterrupted. Our recruiters remain steadfast in helping job seekers land their dream jobs while working remotely from the safety of their homes. Utilizing cutting edge technology and tools, the entire Tal Healthcare team is uniquely positioned to work with clients and schedule phone or video interviews using a multitude of platforms. We have taken actions to ensure the safety of our staff, clients and job seekers while seamlessly continuing to fill critical roles for our healthcare clients.
