Peter Procopio is a Senior Recruiter with a passion for consulting with clients in the area of talent acquisition with a focus on Physician recruitment. He enjoys building strong relationships with his clients to fully understand their business needs and identify highly skilled physicians, executives, and clinicians.
Peter enjoys working closely with healthcare professionals to find the right opportunity and advance their careers in virtually all healthcare settings including hospitals, health system, group practices and academic institutions.
Peter earned his BS in Computer Science from Kean University. After graduating, he began his career as a software engineer working for organizations including Bell Communications Research, IBM, and Dassault Systemes. Leveraging his experience, Peter transitioned to providing consulting services in the area of talent acquisition for such clients as Sony Electronics, Gartner Research, and Aetna.
Peter and his family reside and are very active in the beautiful Hudson valley where they enjoy outdoor activities including hiking in the stunning Catskill mountains, biking along the scenic rail trails that connect historic villages and kayaking the beautiful lakes. In addition, he enjoys experiencing the colorful organic farms and wineries in the region. Peter and his family enjoy giving back to the community through Habitat for Humanity and The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
